
Goals and Objectives of TAMP
- To further the use of fresh and frozen meat and meat products
- To promote processed meat products through education and research
- To promote the general welfare of the meat industry and to facilitate the interchange of information between members
Our Work
Through a continuing contractual agreement with Texas AgriLife Extension Service, the TAMP office is physically located in the Kleberg building on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. The Executive Director of the Association is Dr. Davey Griffin, Associate Professor and Extension Meat Science Specialist, Texas AgriLife Extension Service.

Join Us
TAMP's annual meeting is held once a year in the summer. In 2020, the convention will be held the first or second week in August. Location TBD. Watch for information on signing up for the event and for hotel information on the TAMP blog.
